David Atashroo, MD
Dr. David Atashroo completed his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Missouri-Columbia, earning his B.S. in Biology Summa Cum Laude and his MD degree. Subsequently, he attended the University of Kentucky for his plastic surgery residency training, and then Stanford University for his post-doctoral fellowship. In 2015 he founded Copilots In Care, a healthcare startup dedicated to improving experience of patients and families battling serious illness, and has served as it's CEO and Medical Director since then. He joined the Beacon Urgent Care family in October 2016 as a provider.
Dr. Atashroo has dedicated his life to helping people in need. At Mizzou he received the selective Mizzou '39 award for his academic achievement, leadership, and service. He has gone on multiple medical missions to Guatemala, Jamaica, and Afghanistan. During medical school, Dr. Atashroo founded MedZou, a non-profit health clinic, that continues to serve the community poor and uninsured to this day.
Dr. Atashroo now resides in Menlo Park, with his wife, 5 chickens, and his pup, Teddy the Airedale. During his free time he enjoys skiing, cycling, backpacking, and running.
